What's the next step in your health journey?

You’ve been eating all of the healthy foods, avoiding seed oils and processed sugar but you still don’t feel your best. What’s the next step for you?
1. Swap out your personal products! Skin products first. Your skin is your largest organ. Did you know that it takes LESS than 30 seconds for substances to absorb into your skin and into your bloodstream? (Think about it ... that's why the nicotine patch and birth control patches work so well)  If you’re pregnant this is going straight into your baby’s bloodstream too! 2. Eliminate toxic fragrance. Fragrance can hide more than 3,000 chemicals. Many of which are hormone disruptors! This can be in anything from your candles, toilet bowl cleaner, to your blush! I suggest using saltandlightbysami.com for all your clean fragrance needs (;
3. Drink better water. Did you know that virtually all unfiltered water contains fluoride, birth control and more?! When I was in college- if I drank *one glass* of water from our cafeteria I bloated to look like I was 6 months pregnant. I wish I was kidding! While we’re on the topic of water, add salt and minerals! Drinking excess amounts of plain water can actually strip us of our minerals.
4. Get outside. Put your feet on the ground! Getting outside helps to reset our bodies. It aids in destressing and literally “grounds us”.
