Do you need a vacation after your vacation?

Have you ever heard the phrase, “I need a vacation after my vacation”? That’s how I always felt too!

What IF we could enjoy our vacations even more and come back feeling rested?!

Here’s my top tips!

1. If you choose to drink alcohol (responsibly!!)- make it cleaner.

Alcohol is a neurotoxin. No matter how clean it is! But life is all about 80/20 & if you want to enjoy a drink or two while on vacation- splurge! But make it as clean as possible. My favorite brands are Juneshine & Glutenberg (gf beer). (This should go without saying, but I’ll make it abundantly clear - getting a little “too tipsy” and/or drunk is a mortal sin. No matter if you’re on vacation or not & it absolutely wrecks your body. This is will never be what I’m talking about when I mention drinking!)


2. Bring your own food. 

I know I sound like a party pooper when I say this, but I can count on my hands the amount of times I ate out as a kid. LOL! Bringing your own food means YOU are the one who decides what’s in it. I feasted like a queen while on vacation. Yet, I didn’t eat a single seed oil and continued eating nutrient dense food every meal!


3. Bring minerals.  

This has been a game changer in my health. The soil has been depleted through farming in non-regenerative ways. Eating ONE big carrot 50 years ago, is the nutritional equivalent to eating FIVE big carrots now. Same with our water. Unless you’re living in an untouched mountain out west, you have to filter your water. Thus, filtering out all of the minerals too. Drinking plain water strips our bodies of it’s minerals even more. I add the brand “Trace Minerals” to all of my drinks. A few squirts of Trace Minerals & an LMNT is the perfect combination 👌🏼


4. Focus on protein & quality fats.  

Whether you’re eating out or cooking for yourself, the cleanest option will almost always be straight meat & cheese. You should strive for 100+ grams of protein a day. You can add collagen to coffee or adrenal cocktails/LMNT for an added boost to help get you to your goals!

Vacation can be regenerative if done right!
