Bluelight- is it really that big of a deal?

What is it? How does it effect us?
Before the last few weeks, I would had said that it really wasn't a huge deal. But if you've been following my life for the past few years- you know I've had some pretty extreme eye issues. It all started because of my thyroid and it thinking it was a good idea to attack my own body.
So after my thyroid decided to attack my eye, I thought I'd be in the clear when the redness and inflammation went away. I was wrong, your eye is one of the hardest parts of your body to heal! Especially in today's world.
Every time I looked at a screen or went outside, my eye became red and inflamed. I finally broke down and started wearing my 7$ amazon bluelight glasses to see if they would help.
Well I'm here to say that even just a 7$ pair works WONDERS. I didn't wear them for !4! hours and I wound up with a migraine lookin like an ogre.
"If we are exposed to the artificial version of light regularly, it can be harmful. Artificial blue light tricks our brain into believing it’s still daytime and should be awake not asleep. This is harmful for many reasons.
✓ Disrupts our ability to get the restful sleep our body requires.
✓ Our mitochondria, the cell’s powerhouse, can’t properly recharge and repair.
✓ Mitochondria dysfunction leads to critical health issues such as cancer, Alzheimer’s, obesity, diabetes, autism, autoimmune diseases, depression, and others.
✓ Staring at a digital screen strains the eyes, leading to blurry vision, headaches, and difficulty focusing." - RA Optics
I found that putting on bluelight glasses feels the same way to my eyes as drinking water when I'm parched. It soothes them SO much!
I grabbed my bluelight glasses first from Amazon, but then decided to invest in a better pair that blocks all of it.
