Don’t let yesterday, ruin today.
There are 1,440 minutes in a day. 1,440 moments.
These days have been extremely hard as we await our third baby. My health is less than excellent and it could effect the baby's. & yet, my three year old still needs a snack. My one year old needs a diaper change. My emotions have been running rampant!
So, yesterday was hard (& the previous three days).
Then I woke up this morning. Still upset about 24 hours ago. Feeling groggy and not wanting to take on the day.
Then I realized, TODAY WAS A GIFT. Not everyone got today. But I did. So it was up to me, to thank God for what He had given me. It was up to ME to change my thought process.
We’re all allowed to have bad moments. God created other emotions than happiness for a reason! But don’t let a bad day bleed in to a bad week, month, or year.
We’re only gifted a certain amounts of mornings to wake up. Some will be a lot harder than others. In order to continue getting up, beating the devil, and resisting the urge to sulk in misery.. we have to make a habit of being thankful for the day the Lord has given us. Even if it’s not the day we wanted or intended to have
